about

your creative oasis awaits

Honey Bee Vineyard is a family-owned private estate located in Augusta, Missouri and is located in the first designated American Viticulture Area (AVA). The vineyard is a highly sought-after destination for photographers, painters, and musicians. Our vineyard sits on top of an 80-foot bluff that overlooks the Katy Trail State Park and farmland that is situated on 9.2 acres where we grow award winning Vidal Blanc grapes. The original wine cellar was built in 1860 and was hand dug prior to prohibition with a barreled ceiling. It is one of the oldest wine cellars in the area, which provides photographers and artists a visualization of what it was like to produce wine prior to prohibition. It also provides great acoustics for those wishing to record music in a unique atmosphere. The property is available with advance booking for both private and commercial photography or a location for,  artists to create inspired iconic paintings, and for musicians looking to record music in a unique setting.

now booking the honey bee cottage!

In 1860 Charles Loewenhaupt, a brick mason, built the first brick building in Augusta on a stone foundation with double doors and two rooms. This was the office of Dr. H.S. Clay. Today it is our charming cottage that we love sharing with guests.
